Paul Muresan is working on a new animation called ”Dă-mi mâna” (Take My Hand), another short done in his already well established style; the film is produced by Mihai Mitrica (Mitrix) and the fans can expect watching it as soon as within a year, in the spring of 2022.
The script, the storyboard and the animatic are ready, so we took the opportunity to ask Paul Muresan about the topic of this new film: parentification, a psychological phenomenon by which the children of infantile parents change the roles and become the caretakers.
"It is about shifting the responsabilities. It is tender, but is also horrible.” says Muresan, who is already well-known to the public for his animated sketches that draw on the fantastic, but which are inspired and based on clear reality.
